The Harris County – Houston Sports Authority (HCHSA) is honored to announce it is a recipient of the Front Office Sports 2022 Best Employers in Sports Award. 2022 marks the second time the HCHSA has been selected as an award recipient, joining the Denver Broncos, Charlotte Hornets, New York Mets, USA Triathlon, and other select organizations as multiple award winners. This award is a testament to the organization’s leadership, commitment to diversity and inclusion, employee well-being, and philanthropic endeavors. 

Front Office Sports is a media brand with an audience of over 20M people per month. The Best Employers in Sports Award, established in 2019, recognizes organizations across the sports industry doing their best for their employees. This year, the 2022 Best Employers in Sports List comprises the top 15% of participating sports companies.

This award is another part of the HCHSA’s continued efforts to set the gold standard for sports commissions all over the country. Over the course of the next several years, the HCHSA will bring some of the sport’s most significant events to Houston, including the Men’s Final Four in 2023, the College Football Playoffs in 2024, the AAU Junior Olympic Games in 2025, 2027, and 2031, and the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
